TEXAS OUTLAW POET
JEFF CALLAWAY
born in athens, tx. in 1976. he survived the Mabank, Texas tornado of April 24, 2010. he has written 5 chapbooks all published by Austin publisher Texas Outlaw Press. He also has two full length volumes of poems also published by Texas Outlaw Press. He graduated from Malakoff High School class of 1994 Senior Class Vice-President. He also attended Trinity Valley Community College on a Theater scholarship. he became known as the Texas Outlaw Poet upon the stages of poetry venues, coffeshops and bars across Austin, Texas around 2003. In March of 2009, Jeff did an artshow of his original work at the Hal Samples Space Gallery in Deep Ellum, displaying his many multi-media renderings of beer bottles and mushrooms and naked women. He now resides in Dallas, Texas where he continues to perform, write, paint and live and love. peace!!!
